Putin signs establishment of federal territory Sirius

MOSCOW, Dec 22 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a federal law envisaging establishment of the Sirius federal territory, according to a document seen by PRIME on Tuesday.

The document was prepared in the framework of constitutional amendments.

In accordance with the document, Sirius will be a new type of public and legal formation, economically independent in terms of budget and property. The issues of organization of its functioning will be decided during a five-year transition period.
